The Data Protection Act (DPA) states that data is “not transferred outside the UK without adequate protection”. No doubt SurveyMonkey offers adequate protection, but we offer added peace of mind by hosting your data in the EU and at no point will it leave the EU.
The general school of thinking from legal professionals and data security experts is that a provider who stores or accesses survey data from outside the EU could expose you to risk.

Domain Branding

This resource allows you to store any survey-related documents within your SmartSurvey account. When attaching files or images to your survey, you can simply open your File Cabinet and select the appropriate file.

SmartSurvey allows respondents to upload files from their pc/laptop into your survey as part of their response. You can then view the attached files within the results section of your survey. This works great if you need an application completed, a CV supplied or even a photo from your respondent.
