The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) will host this year’s Professional Development Conference in August 2017 at the Hilton Chengdu.

The theme for the 2017 Professional Development Conference is ‘Improving competence, Improving confidence’. We recommend this conference for centre staff who are responsible for the delivery and assessment of HND programmes.

The conference offers a wide range of presentations, workshops and practical activities, supported by a number of speakers with extensive expertise in a range of business-related subjects, including Business, Financial Services, Accounting, and Administration and Information Technology.

The aim is to help delegates with developing their own assessment knowledge and skills, so improving capability and building confidence. Sharing this learning with your colleagues in your centre is crucial to getting best value from the conference.
