Enjoy a great day trip or a short break to explore Skye, travelling over from Tarbert on the Isle of Harris. After the scenic sail across to Uig, the rest of your time is free to discover more. Visit the impressive and towering Dunvegan Castle and Gardens. Head to the beautiful Sleat peninsula, often known as the Garden of Skye. Visit the new Torabhaig Distillery (opening summer 2017), producing the infamous island style malt. Learn more about the powerful Clan Donald when you visit Armadale Castle and Gardens - a haven of unusual flora and fauna. Head across to the Isle of Raasay (payable locally) and visit the newly opened Isle of Raasay Distillery (opening 14 July). Whisky enthusiasts can also visit Talisker Distillery. Perhaps add a day sailing as part of your trip.
