I think your code useless for site, but maybe I badly know 🙂 ,

That would be something you'd want to handle via a tool like Google Webmaster Tools, and less so WordPress.

Something that has changed in recent years is the rise of negative SEO and the ability to induce link penalties. This wasn't always true before. In this case, I think it is even more important than before to know as soon as possible when your homepage is linked by another site. If it is a bad domain, you would want to disavow it immediately, not after several months when you notice that your traffic is mysteriously dying and Google finally deigns to show you the link (not guaranteed!) in webmaster tools.

By default there is no option in admin side for choose a post template like a page template. Currently we can achieve this only with help of a plugin for a non technical user. It will be great if added the feature.

There are plugins but does it make sense to have plugins for this purpose? The editor already provides option for "target" attribute so why not for "rel"? Adding extra plugin for this sort of simple task can be confusing for layman or normal users.

This actually can be done. You can sort posts by meta-data now if you need to, though it's a little complicated. You could use something like FacetWP (yes, it's a premium plugin) to sort by any meta-data, for example.

Currently, when WordPress list the pages or posts created, it can do so alphabetically or by date, or by category, etc. It has tabs for Published (alphabetically), trash (alphabetically), and Drafts (alphabetically).

I wish to see an addition to this tab list, such as "Most Used" (or any appropriate name). This is where we would click an option in the documents meta-data to choose it to be a "sticky" post or page. Then WordPress will list these sticky posts/pages in its own tab.

Purpose of this is to allow us to access the most used/modified pages/posts in our large library of pages/posts, instead of having to click to the next list or see a huge long browser page listing all of the pages/posts.

This provides a better management tool and access.

Custom taxonomies for attachments (media) is a good start. Now we just need built-in support for filtering media using those taxonomies. Both in the regular list of media and when inserting/uploading/selecting media into a post.

Not sure if this idea is still "active" but as far as I know it hasn't been implemented, right?

This would be a very useful feature even tough I am not always a fan of super big menues because it might affect the user experience.

Nevertheless I am in need for this feature for a current client. I am using the Mega Menue Plugin to build in depth and visual structures. A out of the box option in WP would be great.

When added links to text-articles (placed in the Media collection) to the pages (for example, home-page), these articles are impossible to catalogise, if are not separatelly posted . Therefore, I suggest that when creating or editing pages, to allow to catalogise the content when linking to content or to enable content cataloging in Media collection.

I think it would be easier as well as good if user would be able to add 'rel' value while adding a link in editor. It can be handy from the eye of SEO. So, all in all my proposal is to add 'rel' option while adding link in WordPress editor.

Then link then would appear as:

I discovered this when my tried to use the characters of facebook to post to the title. And Urls are automatically created. I think this is not good for SEO.

Images are resized based on the settings in your theme and plugins. You'd have to find out which ones are doing it and change them.

When I need to log out on WP, I have to go to my profile to do it (there might be a quicker way; I haven’t found it…) Could there be a log out button with the WP admin for instance, please? (I know this demand will seem backward but I don’t want to be logged in permanently on WordPress. If I am the only one… Don’t bother)

It would be great if each WP theme and plugin homepage had its own showcase page, where users of that theme or plugin could upload a link to their site, showing how they've used a particular theme or plugin. This would be helpful for website developers looking for ideas, as well as for theme and plugin developers looking to promote their product, as well as website developers wanting to promote their development services.

The WP showcase pages at https://wordpress.org/showcase/ would also be more helpful if we could browse by theme or plugin (rather than search for specific ones).
