Gastronauts

Gastronauts is a club for adventurous eaters, with chapters in New York and Los Angeles. The idea behind the club wasn’t to eat Fear Factor stuff, but to get people away from solely eating foods they were comfortable with; we figured having friends along would amortize the awkwardness.

Why it’s in the Showcase: Gastronauts features a well-branded custom theme that uses jQuery, custom post types, sticky posts, and custom fonts to bring together brave foodies.
