I've updated, but when everytime I open a file from the cloud always crashes, why? Please help

The app needs a lot of improvements in terms of user experinence. They should give a easier navigation pattern to search and view prototypes. They should allow the user to refresh the prototype once opened and cached. They should have a recently viewed section to view most recent viewed or updated proposal instead of going in to specific folders which is itself is scrutiny. they should integrate the exported links managment within the app so dev and designers can directly manage links and see the status and comments from the app. Currently this is the only app that allows users to view the XD prototypes so I guess we are bound to use the app to view protos on android. I wish they could do the same to this app as they are doing on Windows and mac. I.e. periodic updates to make exp better. Currently I have to export all the screens to Invision app to get the good exp.

Are you being serious?? Or am I horribly missing something here?? Can't find any main app control once I start a prototype. Closing the app is making it load the file from cache and starting the prototype again!! It can't be this bad right. What am I missing here??

This app will not work with ZenFone 2 because it is an x86 device. Our app is only supported on armV7.
You will also not get option to download it from play store.

To open another document from CC follow these steps:
1. Long tap on the screen to open menu.
2. Select "Open XD Document "
3. Now select "Open from Creative Cloud"
4. Then choose your file by tapping on it
5. Tap on the open button
Now you will be able to see the document

Hi Abir,
The main controls are visible after you long tap on your prototype. You will get a bottom sheet.
Choose Open XD document > XD document rom Creative Cloud, to open your other projects.

Arihant Jain While the functionality is basically there and it's nice to be able to show off designs on my tablet / phone... Fonts seem to be a problem. Can't design with certain Fonts in mind and then have the design not be able to use them. It's not obvious how to rectify such a situation.
How to change document, after opening another one? When I go app the app close. When I reopen it it opens last document from cache. But I would like to see other projects.

This behavior is as designed and lets the user keep the cached files.
In order to open another project, open a file from your Creative cloud account or simply connect to desktop XD app (macOS)

Arihant Jain Crashes at 90% loading of a doc through CC. Didn't work by USB. Edit after comment from team: USB tethering didn't seem to work. The UI on the phone simply flashed between showing the XD logo and saying "open an XD document on your desktop to see the preview here" or something along those lines. Tried by saving my XD file into my CC library and opening it on my phone, it would load until about 90% and the Adobe XD app would simply crash. It was a pretty big file to be fair, (125mb) maybe there's some sort of upper limit on the filesize for mobile preview?

Sorry to hear that. But this application is not designed for x86 architecture which your Asus Zenfone houses.
Also you will not be able to download this application from Play Store.
Please try using smartphone other than Asus Zenfone housing arm architecture

Thank you for reaching to us.
Please use the below rules
1. include at least one number or symbol.
2. Usual punctuation marks are allowed, as well as various symbols like: ^ = + $ # or @
3. include both lower and upper case latin characters.
4. Allowed latin characters are A to Z and a to z.
5. be at least 8 characters long. Just please make live preview on Windows as well. Also, it will be better if there won't be any missing fonts again.

The fonts are something which are covered under intellectual property and needs license to shown on mobile. Can't use it on note 4, it's keep show a pop-up that tell my mac can't access data on the phone
I like it but why does Adobe XD interfers when I connect my Android phone to my mac. I cant transfer files because of it.

You can use "open from Creative Cloud" option in the app to open a file saved from Windows XD app. As of now USB Connection between android & Windows is under investigation at our end.
Also please ensure that Android developer options are disabled in the your mobile.

XD version 1.2 & above will let the user go handy with design prototyping, letting them work offline & download from creative cloud.
We have released new version 1.2.2 with one more new feature & lot of improvements.

Arihant It's a good start The xd previewing of files needs to be based upon what you upload from XD and not an xd file you manually uploaded (not to mention that leads to bugs). That said some nice additions like caching the document from USB which is great. Keep it coming! also a shout out to the xd team whom have been responsive both on here and social media. It does not go unnoticed!
When can we preview on windows ? It's super annoying how we still have no unity between windows and Android devices. Mac and iOS has a saturated market already.. this looks like a great app, but when will windows be supported ?
