I can’t find anything in the Media Library, when i use the Search.
I was thinking why this happens.
I looks like that i can’t search at “Uploaded To” or “Upload location”.

Should be a nice feature to get a better Media Library search.

Have you looked at https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-search-enhanced/ ?

I read the description of the plugin.
And it looks like it don’t search at “Uploaded to”.
Also the plugin is tested up to: 4.4.10, which i don’t really trust.

Should be nice if the search is better out of the box.
I can’t find anything in that searchbox.
It looks like that the default search of WordPress only search at filename, which is not the best choice i believe.
