I’m in a total mess with my WordPress site I created for my jewellery products. After creating an account a long while ago I decided to log in today to do some work on this.

However, the login username and password I have written down are not recognised. I had saved the WP Admin login control panel to my bookmarks so I can easily go back to this when I need to without having to input password/login every time. But now it’s not recognising the details… I’m really confused, these have worked to log me in in the past… Hence why I saved it to bookmarks…

When I select the forgot password link it takes me to my homepage on my site (www.epiphanybeads.co.uk) – you can see my homepage as I designed it, logo, etc.! – and I’ve entered in my username to have a reset password link sent to the email address associated with it, but nothing arrives! I’ve waited a while for this to come in, but nothing… I have now tried this twice but nothing comes in to enable me to reset my password.

I’ve not installed WordPress yet. But I was under the impression I can work on my Admin panel and designing my site before I install it? No?

If that’s the case why was I able to login months ago and use the design features and login multiple times and now it’s not working.

I’m now totally baffled and in a bit of a mess because I’m not au fait with any of this web design/coding type stuff and have basically beg, borrowed and stole my way to this point so I might be doing something that glaringly obvious that’s wrong! Excuse my ignorance in other words – and thanks for any help in advance!

Also important to note, I tried to fill in the form for restoring account but this failed also. In the absence of being able to actually contact anyone at WP I have no other option but to ask for your help here – thanks anyone who can send me off in the right direction! 😀
