simply enjoyable

the story was fun and easy to follow, mechanics were on point, and it was visually stunning. I needed something to do on a quiet sunday and this was exactly what I needed. I couldn't say enough positive things about this all around instant classic. My only request is for a longer sequel. 10 out of 10.

An all-around unique and enjoyable experience

This wonderfully different and memorable story is accompanied by solid gameplay that gives you a ton to do through multiple playthroughs. One of my favorite games of all time, and it was even given for free (i had purchased on 360) for me to enjoy all over again. Highly recommended!

Must have indie!

I first played Bastion when it was originally released on Xbox 360 and it remains one of my favorite titles. Beautiful art direction, exciting gameplay, and unforgettable music and narration. Bastion is a must buy, and a phenomenal first effort from one of the best independent developers around, Supergiant Games.

Excellent

Just like on the 360 it's a beautiful and well done game. Loved it the first time and still love it now. Challenging in some spots, but worth the time in figuring it out. Everything is done well and even the music is worth listening to away from the game. There really should be a demo to give other people a taste of what to expect.

This is a great game I love on Xbox 360 I can't wait to play it again on Xbox One. It has amazing game play a great story killer nearer ation. An also Phenomenal soundtrack. You have played it you gotta play with a few games I play through multiple times.

Still a Masterpiece

A culmination of beautiful art, excellent writing, and fluid gameplay, Bastion is a must-buy for anybody who likes video games. Comes with an optional easier setting (infinite lives) for people who just want to appreciate the art and story. Additionally, for those looking for a harder time braving the Calamity, extra settings can be enabled at will once they're unlocked--stuff like enemies have more health, enemies drop bombs when they die, etc. .

Controls dont feell right.

It's a bit tough to aim with the right stick and shoot with either X or B. I know your character locks on, but its tough to switch between targets. Still a great game but I wish I could switch my controls around.
