SOMArts (South of Market Arts, Resources, Technology, and Services) is an independent nonprofit that operates the South of Market Cultural Center, one of four city-owned cultural facilities in San Francisco. SOMArts is an essential resource to the residents of San Francisco—more than 40,000 people a year visit the center, and more than 80 nonprofits and arts groups use SOMArts for their annual classes, fundraisers and performances because it is the most versatile and affordable large-capacity arts space in the heart of the city.
