Why it’s in the Showcase: To save costs and go green, Carleton is moving most of its publications online. They thought the site for Research Works is a good example of maintaining a print magazine-style feel online. The site is mobile ready and looks great on an iPad with finger scrolling controlling the story query posts. Carleton uses WordPress frequently. According to the developers, Research Works is the 175th site at the university powered by WordPress.
