Translator Web Widget

The Widget allows end users to bring real-time, in-place translation to their website. Built on the Microsoft Translator Text API, the free Widget is a semi-customizable translation tool you can place on your webpage, instantly making the page available in any of the supported languages.

The Widget has been developed for users that don’t have the needs for or resources to either use a content management system (such as Adobe AEM) that natively support the Translator API, or to integrate the API themselves or through a tool like the one provided by WeGlot.

It is also a quick an easy way for businesses to test the capabilities of the Translator system before investing in a more comprehensive integration.

The Translator Web Widget supports the following features.

How it works

Webmasters, bloggers, or anyone with a webpage can add the Widget to expand their reach globally. You don’t have to write new code to leverage the Widget. By pasting a small snippet of JavaScript into your page, you will be able to display the Widget to your visitors. No programming experience needed, no need to write or install server side plug-ins on your server. The Widget can be used on multiple platforms supporting Javascript.

The Widget also fully supports prepublishing customized translation, using the Translator Hub.
