How it works

Once installed, look for Conversation Translator on the More options » menu in a Lync conversation. Be sure to enable Microsoft Lync Conversation Translator before you need it. For privacy reasons Microsoft Lync Conversation Translator cannot access messages that you received before activating it.

Conversation Translator provides a real-time language translation service for Lync instant messaging (IM) conversations. Both the sender and receiver can converse in their native language, and Conversation Translator handles the translation.
