Do you mean the section with Recent Posts heading and Post ID: title?
Please navigate to Appearance → Customize → Front Page → Show Large / Highlight Post? and select on of the post from “Select Large / Highlight Post” dropdown list. Then select your chosen post from the same dropdown list.

when I check in the front page I already have selected a post and still not showing in the front page.

Have you tried to select the other post from “Select Large / Highlight Post” dropdown list and then select your original post from the same dropdown list as I asked before? It is some sort of refresh and it works most of the time.
