Please provide links to a few pages on your site that are not working along with the description you entered into the plugin and expect to see on Facebook.
Hi, thanks so much for answering!
Please see the link here: https://notanothermillennial.com/2016/07/08/millennials-american-holidays/
And this is the meta description: The rights that we have are something that should not be taken for granted, which is why it’s important to reflect on them on American Holidays.
After reviewing the code for your site, you are outputting multiple copies of the OpenGraph tags. This can cause problems when sharing content as Facebook will not always pull the data entered in our plugin.
Please disable plugins or theme functions that add OpenGraph tags. If you are unsure what is adding the additional tags, please run a conflict check following the steps here: How To Check For Plugin Conflicts
Thanks for answering!
We are fine with whatever generates but want to ensure that it is not a symptom of a larger problem, aka our SEO plugin not working correctly. Can you please assure us?
Yoast SEO is outputting the description you listed above in the page source of your website. If you search for any of the common description tags (examples below), you will find two copies of the meta tags.
How To View The Page Source of Your Site
Common description tags
<meta name="description"
<meta property="og:description"
<meta name="twitter:description"
I’m so sorry, I really am not understanding the answer! Does our plugin work properly? That is all I need to know!
