I take issue with the comment about months of no replies to messages posted in the Email Users support forum. I may not get to every message within 24 hours of being posted but I try to answer within a few days. Sometimes I overlook a message or am not in a position to respond to it due to work commitments but if you look through the support forum, I have responded to just about all of them.
Well, looking at the “Support Threads”, on the first page I found the following. I didn’t take the time to list lots of them. You responded to this review fast.

There are 15 threads on the front page of the Support Forum. I have responded to 13 of them. In 6 of them I was the last to respond. On the second page of the Support Forum there are also 15 topics and there is only 1 I didn’t respond to. Of the last 30 topics posted I haven’t responded to 3 of them.
I am not sure what your expectation is for support for plugins but I think 90% response rate is pretty good. Not perfect but pretty good and I think it shows that your original statement of “support messages that seem to be rarely answered by anyone indicated by months of no replies to the messages” isn’t accurate.
