Hello!

I’m currently having some troubles with the sitemap not working properly when Polylang is active. I get the following error when I open the sitemap:

“Error during load of the stylesheet. The parsing of a XSLT stylesheet has failed.”

I have only Polylang and the SEO Framwork installed – everything updated to the latest version.

Hi @quackmaster,

What you’re experiencing is only an issue for human visitors. Robots don’t read XSL stylesheets, so you don’t have to worry about it too much 🙂

It’s best described as a browser security feature, more in-dept information is found here.

In my testing, I haven’t encountered this with Polylang, however.
Could you name the URL of where you’re experiencing this? Alternatively, submit your URL referring to this topic confidentially on my contact page.

Hi @cybr,

it’s weird but I tried to recreate the problem in other WP installs but everything works just fine (which is good of course ^^). I guess there must be something wrong in this particular WP install.

I would send you the URL but they were just a bunch of local installs.

So I guess this can be marked as resolved. 🙂

No problem 🙂

In the next update (2.9.3) this issue shouldn’t be occurring anymore, however the site may be set up or accessed (within expected bounds, of course).
