The Digital Strategy for Justice in Scotland has been developed through collaboration between the Scottish Government, justice organisations, and the broader public, private and voluntary sectors. It sets out how we will use digital technology to transform the way in which we deliver justice services in the civil, criminal and administrative justice systems.
The Strategy’s objectives are to:
• allow people and businesses to access the right information at the right time.
• fully digitise justice systems.
• make data work for us.
We want to use digital technology wherever possible to broaden access to justice, improve quality of service and safeguard the rights of citizens and users. Our vision is to have modern, user-focused Justice systems which use digital technology to deliver simple, fast and effective justice at best cost.
