This page contains details of recent improvements to the data we publish, including additions to regularly published tables and the expansion of some areas to provide more detail.
In August 2010, the existing Summary Statistics for Council Areas page was expanded into Council Area Profiles [1], giving detailed demographic factsheets for each of the 32 Council Areas in Scotland. All 32 factsheets are available in one Excel workbook. They can also be downloaded as individual Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) files by clicking on the required area of the map.
