Charrettes

What is a charrette? Usually taking place over a few days, a charrette is an interactive design process, in which the public and stakeholders work directly with a specialised design team to generate a specific community vision, masterplan and action plan.

Edinburgh’s Union Canal: Towpath Study

Scottish Canals are carrying out a study to identify opportunities to improve the towpath along the Union Canal from Lochrin Basin to the Almond Aqueduct in Edinburgh.

Canalside Cottages

Canalside Cottages are former lock keeper and canal worker’s cottages located on the banks of Scottish canals which have been restored into high quality self catering holiday accommodation.
