Surface mineral workings: control of traffic

An annex to PAN 50 'Controlling the Environmental Effects of Surface Mineral Workings' which provides advice on how the planning system can be used to manage traffic associated with surface mineral workings within environmentally acceptable limits.
This annex provides more detailed advice concerning the over-arching PAN 50, controlling the effects of surface mineral workings.
We have also produced three more annexes to supplement the main PAN 50:
