Greenlight for £8.9 million Lightweight Manufacturing Centre

This new hub, based in Renfrew, will be part of Strathclyde University's Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC).

It will allow Scottish companies to develop new manufacturing processes using lightweight materials such as titanium and carbon fibre, increasingly used in the aerospace, automotive, oil and gas and renewables industries.
