This page relates to the 2007 version of the National Performance Framework. The refreshed NPF was launched on the 14 December 2011 and the performance assessments presented below are frozen at that date. Two of the National Indicators that were removed from the NPF had specific target endpoints after 14 December 2011. The final data for these two indicators was reported in early 2012 and the final performance assessment is available in the legacy targets section.

Scotland PerformsThis page summarises our assessment of the Purpose Targets and National Indicators, which are shown in more detail elsewhere in Scotland Performs. It provides an 'at a glance' snapshot of how Scotland and the Government are doing, rather than a comprehensive measurement of every activity undertaken to achieve the Purpose and National Outcomes. Like the rest of Scotland Performs, this page is a live document, with information and assessments being updated as and when new data comes on-stream, so that the latest available overview of Scotland's progress is accessible to all. Over time, as more data will become available and 2007 baselines can be set, we will expand and deepen our analysis. As it develops, 'Performance at a Glance' will provide a useful 'first-stop' for anyone seeking an overall picture of the state of Scotland.
