Compulsory Purchase Orders: process and checklist

Local Authorities usually use Compulsory Purchase Order powers to acquire land or property that they need for projects in the public interest such as road construction, housing developments or town centre regeneration by reaching agreement with the owners. Sometimes the process might be different or more information will be needed.
