Mobile Check in
Your mobile just got even more useful! Check in for flights within Europe with our mobile app. We'll send your boarding pass straight to your smartphone.
When does check in on the App open?
You can check in on the App within 30 hours of your scheduled departure time on all routes within Europe
(except Faro, Bourgas and Donegal airports where they do not currently accept mobile boarding passes).
When does check in on the App close?
App check in closing times vary depending on where you are departing from:

Getting your boarding pass on the App is really straightforward. When you’ve completed check in on the App, your mobile boarding pass will automatically display. You can find it at any stage in the "Boarding Passes" section.
If you’ve any difficulty accessing your boarding pass, you can go to web check in online and print it from there.
If you’re already at the airport and you can’t access your boarding pass, you’ll need to go to a check-in desk and obtain a paper boarding pass.
Once you’ve got the boarding pass on your mobile screen, you’re good to go! No paper required, our boarding staff will simply scan your phone.
- For transatlantic travel - You can web check in online within 24 hours of your scheduled departure time and print your boarding pass instead.
- If your flight departs outside of 30 hours - You can web check in online within 30 days of your departure date and print your boarding pass instead. Seat fees apply until 30 hours before your scheduled departure time.
- Group bookings (7 or more guests) - You can web check in online within 30 hours of your scheduled departure time and print your boarding passes instead.
- If you booked flights via the Aer Lingus call centre or a travel agency - You can web check in online within 30 hours of your scheduled departure time and print your boarding pass instead.
- *Bourgas, Donegal and Faro airports do not currently accept mobile boarding passes - You can web check in online within 30 hours of your scheduled departure time and print your boarding pass instead.
