The Centre for Engineering Education and Development (CeeD) aims to build a national engineering community in Scotland, bound together by a common aspiration to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness and ultimately profit. It offers its members a range of services and engages with companies to solve operational challenges through:
- Collaboration with other companies (large and small) on common challenges in ‘clinics’
- Access to companies, providing the opportunity to see and learn how it’s done elsewhere
- Professional development for junior and middle management through engaging with peer groups and collaborating to solve other company's issues that can open paths to own solutions
- Cross-company training
- Sharing of best practice
- High-level networking with experienced operations people who want to help you succeed, not sell to you
- Access to the Members' online forum
