The National Microelectronics Institute (NMI) is the trade association representing the UK Electronic Systems, Microelectronics and Semiconductor communities, offering a number of benefits such as networking, and help with funding, skills development, and benchmarking.

Not-for-profit, funded by its members, NMI spans the supply chain. This includes electronic systems design and manufacturing, integrated device manufacturers and fabless semiconductor manufacturers, semiconductor foundries and suppliers, electronic design services, IP providers, research & academic institutions, as well as national and regional government agencies.
