Ideas for an August touring trip with our dog
Hi, we are planning two weeks in Scotland in August with our small friendly dog. We will be driving up from the north of England, and would appreciate some guidance about the best places to go. We want to leave cities behind us and focus on countryside, walking and pet friendly places to stay. Thoughts so far include driving up the west coast and then exploring parts of the Highlands and Cairngorms. I’ve looked at some of the online itineraries but would appreciate some recommendations. We’d like to mix a few nice hotels with a longer stay in a lodge or walking area. One place booked so far in Kylesku. All suggestions welcomed!
