Claire Randall, a married World War II nurse in 1945 finds herself transported back to Scotland in 1743 where she meets Jamie Fraser, a dashing Highland warrior. the stunning backdrop to much of this series was filmed at some of Historic Scotland sites and is the inspiration behind this design.
