Driving in Edinburgh

We rented a car from the Edinburgh airport but we are staying in Edinburgh for three days before we will actually need the car. There is no parking at our hotel, Old Town Chambers, Should we take the car and park it at Waverly Station or leave it at the airport?

I've always found (traveling anywhere) that if I locate my hotel on Google Maps, then use the "Search Nearby" feature for parking, I'm in good shape.
I did exactly that in Edinburgh, and found a decent pay-lot about 8 blocks from our hotel. Bit of a walk, but not too expensive.

The closest car park to the Old Town Chambers Hotel is the Waverley Station car park in the city centre, although you will need to pay to park there each day. The good news is that there is a discounted price for using the car park if you are staying at the Old Town Chambers Hotel...it may cost around £16 per 24 hours instead of £21.
