Most scenic route from Inverness to Skye?

  Depends on the time you have and your enthusiasm. The drive via Torridon is scenic but if you have gone that far, you'd be remiss to not take the Balech Na Ba to Applecross. Plus you'll have to do a ton of driving to properly see Skye the next few days. I'd still pick driving through Torridon, some views are just unbelievable, especially if the clouds are not low.   Thanks. Ive seen some of the pictures of the mountain pass to Applecross and it looks amazing. That is one of the reasons Ive considered that northern route, so you are just giving me more confirmation to go that way. I will have a rental car for 10 days and I will be going all over Skye, so lots of driving is definitely in the cards! That inn looks amazing.

  Thanks, @Sinfoniahorn and @VisitScotlandLiam the whole area has unbelievable views especially the Beinn Eighe complex. I fell down on the slippery stone path twice while taking the picture of these falls because I was so distracted by the beauty

  If you do make it all the way to Applecross, the Applecross Inn has some great locally-sourced food and is a cosy pit stop. They also have rooms but they are often all booked up well in advance.
