Things to do in Dunfermline area

Hey folks, does anyone have any suggestions for places to go, things to do in the Dunfermline area, I will be visiting soon with my 13 year old daughter so as you can imagine I'm under pressure trine something to hold her interest being at that age!!!

Hi McCaff, there is loads to do in Dunfermline, if she is interested in history there is Dunfermline Abbey and Palace, Pittencrieff park with its tropical glasshouses and the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum.
If you fancy travelling a bit there is Deep Sea World, with the biggest underwater glass tunnel in the UK with loads of sea life, at North Queensferry just a 15 minute drive or train journey away. If you fancy some exercise after you can walk across the forth road bridge, with great views of the UNESCO world heritage Rail Bridge and the new forth crossing.

If weather not so good cinema, adventure golf island, 10 ten pin bowling 10 mins from town centre. If sunny, nice beach at Aberdour, about 15 mins drive away
