Another Iphone question

I did check with AT&T and my Iphone is now unlocked. I plan to purchase a SIM card from Three. My question is where do you get those and will there be someone there to help you set it up? I will only be in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. I'd like to get some data amounts to be able to send pics back home and use the GPS on the phone. I will try to find wifi to make Facetime calls back home. Any suggestions.
