Balloch , need some "special" Informations :-)

Hey,
For our stay in Balloch in July we need a few recommendations from insiders:
What is your favorite pub?
Is there a breakfast shop?
What is your favorite restaurant?
Is there really only one supermarket there?

    An aside as I haven't stayed  But I did do a bit of research on supermarkets.  Just down the road in Alexandria itself there is a few Supermarkets including another co-op, a place called Iceland and an Aldi.

    It seems  to me to be last spot with a selection of supermarkets on your way out of town and up the loch and into Argyll.

    The Aldi and Iceland are about a mile and a half at most from anywhere in Balloch
