From Scotland to Faroe Islands
Hey folks! A bikepacking trip from Germany to Greenland will bring me all the way through Scotland this summer. From the North of Scotland I would like to directly connect to my next stop at Faroe Island - however, haven‘t found any connection (e.g. ferry) yet. Have you any got any ideas or insight regarding this? Generally, I would not even restrict myself to official transport and go for supply ships or anything similar instead - but no idea which town/harbour to approach. Many thanks in adavance - any help will be much appreciated

Best, Benjamin

I have travelled to the Faroes from Scotland before, but only via a flight from Edinburgh. There only seems to be ferries from Denmark or from Iceland and flights can be quite expensive if I remember correctly as they are pretty infrequent to the islands in general. Sorry I couldn't be of more use!
