My GOLF ROUND for BUCKET LIST

Hi all
I am from Toronto, Canada
I am planning my first ever trip to Edinburgh Scotland. I am doing this as I am turning 60 years old this July and I always wanted to play a round of LINKS golf in Scotland. I am travelling with my wife (she doesnt play golf). I want to play a course by the sea. I checked out NORTH BERWICK GC , looks perfect, however they are booked up. Not surprised due to the British open being played the same week...Any suggestions? Craigielaw? Kilspindie? Something that isn't more than the price of my airline ticket

    Hi @Phnert, As a Golf Pro I can really recommend Archerfield Links or even Craigielaw. Musselburgh Links is the oldest golf course in the world. You should really play this!

    Hey @Phnert, you have some excellent choices around the Edinburgh area! Kilspindie is a great option as is Longniddry or even Gullane #2. If you have a free day, a trip up north to the Carnoustie area would be well worth a visit with courses such as Panmure, Montrose and Monifieth being excellent links!
