I would agree with @Horizons about coming to the Ayrshire coast - Ayr, Prestwick, Troon all have nice beaches and close enough to the ferry ports (Ardrossan & Largs) to take you across to Arran and Cumbrae
There's also an outdoor pool in New Cumnock!
It has just undergone a huge refurbishment and was opened by Prince Charles just a few days ago.

Hi @Linda45 . You should the Open Top Sightseeing buses to see Glasgow. These are a great way of getting around the city and you can get either a 1 or 2 day ticket. You'll love it!!
