With our beautiful landscapes, many hotels in Scotland look out over fabulous prospects. Rooftop views of Edinburgh, majestic mountains or peaceful beaches can be the first thing you see in the morning.
Here are a few gorgeous vistas...
1. View from the Lochcarron Hotel in Wester Ross

2. Looking over Tangasdale beach from the Isle of Barra Hotel in Argyll

3. Looking over the bay from the Cullin Hills Hotel, Skye

4. "Hallo!" Friendly (and probably hungry) deer in the grounds of the King's House Hotel, Glencoe

5. Winter wonderland - The Invergarry Hotel nestles on the banks of the River Garry

Have you stayed in a hotel in Scotland where you woke up to breathtaking views?

They even provide the binoculars!
Based in the Scottish Borders, Aberdeenshire has a special place in my heart.
There is nothing better than waking up to an awesome view like that! i'll have check out the The Waterside House in Ullapool thanks MogMJMR for the photos, looks great.
My suggestion would be the Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond, with some rooms you can see a sea plane take of from the Loch

P.S. Joint second "room" with a view is from my tent in the many jawdropping camping locations around Scotland which is against the spirit of this thread

You can sit out on the terrace behind the hotel, and soak up the view with a wee glass of something nice. it's so peaceful, with the waves below and seabirds calling across the bay (Just to clarify, I did actually leave the room to do some exploring!).
