Hi,
Are there farms in Scotland that offer a combination of B&B accommodation and working vacation? I have always wanted to stay on a farm for a week and help do real work with the farmers. My wife would much prefer just the B&B experience so we would like to combine the two.
I have seen many ads for B&B farm stays, but none that also offer a real working experience as well.

There are farm stay listings on the VisitScotland website. They are not all offering the chance for a hands-on experience but definitely worth a browse. You can access direct contact details from each listing:

The only thing I'd add is using Facebook groups as a question forum: Here's the group for Isle of Harris filled with locals. They're very helpful folk and will point you in the right direction.
