Loch Oich Reservoir

Works to ensure the integrity of the embankments of Loch Oich Reservoir on the Caledonian Canal are set to get underway in 2018/2019.

Loch Dochfour Reservoir

A study of the dam breach and review of the flood assessment for Loch Dochfour Reservoir will get underway in 2018/2019.

Hillend Reservoir

Works to protect the masonry structure of the Hillend Reservoir from potential scour damage in times of flood will get underway in 2018/2019.

Cobbinshaw Reservoir

Works to protect this Cobbinshaw Reservoir Spillway from sub-surface erosion are set to get underway in 2018/2019.

Lilly Loch Reservoir

Works to protect the masonry structure of the Lilly Loch Reservoir from potential scour damage in times of flood will get underway in 2018/2019.

Linlithgow Embankment

The outcome of the Linlithgow Embankment Study in 2017 was a report which identified a list of priority embankment works. These priority works will get underway in 2018.

Bellanoch Swing Bridge

Leamington Lift Bridge

An internal inspection and assessment to determine the current structural condition of Leamington Lift Bridge is set to get underway in 2018/2019.

Almond Feeder

Investigative works to the embankments of the Almond Feeder, the main water supply to the Union Canal, are set to begin in 2018/2019.

Auchinstarry West Embankment

Works to address the ongoing erosion on the canal wall the towpath at Auchinstarry are due to begin in 2019/2020.

Brighton's Burn Aqueduct

A routine inspection of the Brighton's Burn Aqueduct has identified a number of defects which are set to be addressed in 2019/2020.

Kytra Lock has been identified as priority for gate replacement due to condition, age and criticality.
