As the main island in the Outer Hebrides, the Isle of Lewis and Isle of Harris is a great place to start your unforgettable Hebridean adventure. Discover a dramatic island landscape, Gaelic culture and historic traditions and attractions.
Although it may sound like two separate islands, Lewis and Harris are actually two parts of the one island, with Stornoway on the east coast, the largest town of the island group. Catch the ferry to Lewis and Harris, and you'll soon be blown away by the ever-changing mix of terrains; mountains, hills, lunar-like rocky plateaus, moorlands, meadows, rugged coastlines and white sandy beaches all feature.
Once you've explored Lewis and Harris, there's plenty more adventures to have as you head south via causeway or ferry to the other Hebridean islands which lie southwards.
