Scottish sunsets: Where is your favourite place to watch the setting sun?

One of my favourite things about photographing Scotland is the incredible light we get here, this light can produce beautiful sunsets especially on the Westcoast! My favourite place to watch the sunset is on a hilltop looking out to Isle of Mull, the silhouette of the mountains is perfect!

I love that it includes a sea view, hills, and the city all at once. Never gets old!

@eilidh__cameron it has to be Waternish on Skye - especially from Stein or sitting on the wall at Trumpan Churchyard looking over the minch!

@eilidh__cameron, very true about the Isle of Mull. I'll never forget a summer's evening, years ago, on the island of Kerrera, at the top of a hill, looking out to the sun setting over Mull - all blazing orange and dark silhouettes.

I like the view from the water front at Cramond. We walk along the board walk and watch the planes arrive as the sun sets. You can spot the Forth bridge in the background too!
