Beith Road Designs
A737 Improvements will go on show next week.
Minister for Transport & Islands Derek Mackay has announced that a public exhibition of the preferred option for the proposed Beith, North Ayrshire junction improvements at Head Street/Wardrop Street and Barrmill Road, will be held in the local community centre on Friday 27 March, and locals are invited along to see the plans for themselves.
Mr Mackay said:
“The Scottish Government is working hard to improve the trunk road network in North Ayrshire and also right across the country. This road improvement scheme at Beith, along with the Dalry Bypass and the A737 The Den schemes, which are all currently being taken through their statutory processes, underlines our commitment to communities in North Ayrshire and the surrounding areas.
“When completed, the new junctions at Beith will help improve the road system around the town, improve traffic flow and bring additional road safety benefits. This can only be good news for road users and the local community alike, and I would urge anyone in the area with an interest to come and see for themselves the plans and let us hear their views.”
