Creating a new forest for people and wildlife
We plan to turn these fields into a vibrant woodland which will offer an interesting place to walk the dog, have a picnic or go on a bike ride. Currently National Cycle Route 7 runs through the site from Kilwining to Kilkirnie and beyond. The new trees will benefit wildlife too with a wider range of wildflowers, insects and birds appearing very quickly after the first trees are planted.

Woodgreen is north of Kilwinning just off the A737. The best access onto the site is from Viaduct Circle on National Cycle Route 7.
