Watch wildlife in the forest

From soaring sea eagles and awesome ospreys, to scampering squirrels and busy beavers - there is a wealth of wildlife to see in and around the forest. Take a look through our wildlife pages, and discover the stories of Scotland’s favourite animals. We’ve suggested some of the very best places for you to go and see them. 

But you don’t have to make a special trip to enjoy nature. Just sit or stand quietly in any woodland, and you’ll soon see or hear something of the richness of life amongst the trees, from insects to birds and mammals.
