to road users on Scotland's motorway and trunk road network. The purpose is to help drivers
make informed choices about the timing, routing and travel mode for current or future journeys.
Being informed helps reduce the disruption caused to drivers by incidents, minimises the effects
of congestion and thereby improves the safety and efficiency of the national road network.
