How do I get from Inverness to Ullapool

What is the best way to get to Ullapool from Inverness, other than renting a car and driving? Or, how do I get from Glasgow to Ullapool?

You should check public transport timetables for the dates of your travel before you go, if you decide to use public transport.
Inverness to Ullapool is about an hour and a half by bus, and Glasgow to Ullapool can range anything from 6 hours to 13 hours depending on the route.
To avoid disappointment, you should book your seat in advance if there is a particular time and day you want to travel as the bus is not that frequent.
