Christmas in Edimburgh

My name is Miguel and I'm from Portugal and I absolute adore Scotland, I've been there nearly 6 times and can't get enough. I would like to take my children on a city break to Edimburgh now that Ryanair flights strait from Oporto to Edi and probably in December. I would like to know how is the Edimburgh in the Christmans, does it have many market's, attractions, and what would be possible to do with the kinds in that period. Hope to hear some opinions because I'm anxious to return to Scotland. Many thanks

I live in Edinburgh. It has a wonderful Christmas festival with markets, events, shows and rides for all the family. There is so much for children as well as adults. It really brightens up the dark winter nights. You're going to love it! It will run for the whole of December and into the New Year.
