How to navigate Galloway Forest Park

Does anyone know how to get to Galloway Forest Park by public transportation? Google maps always ends at Shelter, and the park itself doesn't have public transport, so do you just walk?

    @Audrey Hey, I am assuming you're referring to the Glentrool entrance of the Galloway Forest Park and if so, yes you just walk. There is a brief bit at the very beginning that you have to walk on the side of the road without a footpath or a trail but you'll soon see a trail to the right of the road that takes you to the visitor centre (around 20 mins from the bus stop).

    Should add that if you plan on reaching Loch Trool from the bus stop and back, you'll have to start early and be a brisk walker, it is surprisingly far (and I'm not the most energetic). Hope this helps.
