Dress Attire

Hello again everyone, I have another question in regards to dress. Since this is our first visit to Scotland, I was wondering would we be needing to pack dresses and heels and suit coats for the guys? We aren't really looking to eat in real fine dining but wonder if there is a need for these clothes. Also do the stores stay open late during the week for shopping? Thanks again for your help.

Unless you're dining somewhere like Gleneagles, you'll be fine in a t-shirt and jeans in most places... perhaps a shirt and trousers somewhere a bit more upmarket. In the larger cities some shops will be open into the evening. Some will have a 'late night - often Thursday.Bespoke tours.
Whisky, Castles and Food a speciality.

Hi @kcfaye , I agree with @YourScotlandTour the restaurants are very relaxed here. The shops may be open later in the cities but elsewhere be prepared that most places close at approx 17:00.
